Conference and Banqueting Head Porter

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Conference and Banqueting Head Porter to join our team at a luxurious hotel in Dublin. As a key member of our conference and banqueting team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth setup, operation, and breakdown of event spaces in line with guest expectations and hotel standards.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and organized individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring that every event runs smoothly. You will work closely with our events and F&B teams to ensure that all event spaces are prepared and presented to a high standard. Your attention to detail and ability to multitask will be essential in ensuring that every event is a success.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the setup, breakdown, and resetting of conference and banqueting rooms according to function sheets and client specifications.
  • Coordinate with the Events and F&B teams to ensure event spaces are prepared and presented to a high standard.
  • Ensure all equipment (AV, furniture, linen, etc.) is properly maintained and stored.
  • Assist in managing the movement and storage of furniture and event materials.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience working in a busy hotel F&B outlet.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and on one's own initiative.
