Our Approach

We strive to provide exceptional care and support to individuals across all age groups in Primary Care.

The successful candidate will contribute to our dynamic and growing mental health team by conducting comprehensive clinical and diagnostic assessments of ADHD and/or ASD, in line with best practice guidelines and existing procedures and protocols.

They will also maintain accurate and confidential patient records, deliver timely and satisfactory assessment reports, adhere to professional competence and clinical governance principles, manage time effectively to meet deadlines, and receive payment for each completed assessment and report.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and diagnose ADHD and ASD in children, adolescents, and adults.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.
  • Deliver timely and satisfactory assessment reports.
  • Meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality work standards.
Requirements
  • A university degree or higher diploma/conversion course obtained with first or second class honours in which Psychology was a major subject (QQI level 8 equivalent).
  • A post-graduate professional psychology qualification accredited by the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI) in Clinical, Educational or Counselling Psychology, or an equivalent qualification validated by the Department of Health.
  • At least 60 days of supervised clinical placements or post-qualification supervised work experience.
  • Expertise in assessing and diagnosing ADHD and ASD.
  • Excellent administration and organizational skills.
  • Fluent English (Level B2 Advanced or above).
  • Chartered Member of the Psychological Society of Ireland.
  • Professional Indemnity Insurance.
