Senior Electrical Estimator

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for high-voltage projects, including onshore substations, energy centers, and hyperscale data centers.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Prepare detailed quantity take-offs from tender documents.
  • Conduct site visits and assessments to gather project data.
  • Work closely with project managers and engineers to understand project scope and requirements.
  • Develop and maintain supplier and subcontractor relationships to ensure competitive pricing.
  • Identify potential project risks and opportunities, providing strategies to mitigate risks and optimize costs.
  • Provide detailed cost reports and presentations to senior management and clients.
  • Ensure estimates comply with all safety, quality, and environmental standards.

Requirements:

  • A proven track record as an HV Estimator in the energy, data center, or related sectors.
  • In-depth knowledge of high-voltage systems, substations, and electrical engineering principles.
  • Experience in estimating costs for complex high-voltage infrastructure projects.
  • Proficiency with estimation software (e.g., CostX, Estimator).
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving ability.
