Job Overview

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality personal care and support to individuals, including assistance with daily living activities, mobility, and continence management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing personalized care and support to clients in their homes
  • Assisting with daily living activities, such as meal preparation and planning
  • Supporting clients with mobility and continence management
  • Providing companionship and recreational activities
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Experience working as a carer or healthcare assistant
  • QQI Level 5 in HealthCare (full 8 modules) or min 2 modules care of the older person and care skills
  • Good knowledge and experience of working with older persons and critical illness clients
  • Flexible approach to work and excellent communication skills
  • Full clean driver's license and own transport essential
