Ophthalmic Technician Job Opportunity

Our clinic is a leading provider of ophthalmic services in South Dublin.

We have a team of over 20 professionals who provide exceptional care to our patients.

This is a well-established clinic with state-of-the-art technology for clinical support in general ophthalmology.

We are well supported by a large administrative, nursing and ophthalmic technician team.

Clinical Responsibilities:

  • Performing ophthalmic diagnostic testing on patients as part of clinical work-ups for consultations at the clinic.

Theatre Responsibilities:

  • Managing patients on the day of surgery (consent discussion, counselling on postoperative instructions).

Administrative Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with collection and preparation of audit data and data for clinical research.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science degree or experience as a Health Care Assistant.
  • Strong work ethic with a focus on customer service.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • A strong service ethic.
