Main Purpose:
- To provide exceptional customer service while efficiently operating the checkout department.
**Required Skills and Qualifications:
We are seeking individuals with strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and a flexible approach. A minimum of 2 years retail experience is desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Livest the company's brand values by consistently delivering high-quality customer service and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- Operate computerised till systems, including barcode scanners.
- Accurately weigh and price products such as fruit and vegetables.
- Check customers' ages for restricted items and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Process store loyalty cards, coupons, and vouchers in a timely and efficient manner.
- Manage cash handling duties, ensuring accurate change and reconciliation.
- Restock shelves and maintain department presentation standards.
- Maintain effective communication with colleagues and management.
