Care Centre Leadership Position

About the Care CentreOur care centre is a state-of-the-art 63-bedded residential facility located on the Dromcollogher Road. We pride ourselves on providing a safe, supportive, and homely environment for our residents.
As the director of nursing, you will be responsible for ensuring that we maintain the highest standards of care and service to our residents and their families.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing the care centre's day-to-day operations
- Ensuring compliance with HIQA regulations and standards
- Promoting and overseeing the delivery of person-centred care
- Leading a multidisciplinary team to provide integrated care services
You will also be responsible for managing risk, health and safety, infection prevention control, and complaint management.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- A qualified nursing degree and at least 3 years' experience in care of the older person
- A post-registration management qualification in healthcare or a related field
- No less than 3 years' experience in a management capacity in the health and social care sector
- Engagement in continuous professional development
- Sound knowledge and clinical nursing practice in care of older persons
