Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electro Mechanical Applications Engineer to join our dynamic team. As an Applications Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support to customers, working with a small dynamic team of engineers, and collaborating on product development. Your expertise in electro mechanics, software application, integration & test, and customer interaction will be invaluable to the company.
This is a challenging role that requires someone who can become an expert in the complete system, understand how the whole product works, and is not limited to one area of expertise. You will work in a practical hands-on environment and be given in-depth training of the company's technology and products.
You will provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support to customers, including developing appropriate tests for new products or product enhancements, performing such tests, and providing feedback to developers. Additionally, you will analyze data, create reports based on results, validate corrections to conclusions, and experience wireless networking/data communication.
You will also travel to customer sites, provide installation, set-up, calibration, and customer training, as well as provide remote and on-site support, including documentation of customer interaction, issue logging, and feedback on issues or enhancements. Good communication skills are required to ensure accurate description of issues to R&D and accurate responses to customers.
The successful candidate will have 4 years' experience either as an Electro-Mechanical Engineer/Technician or similar technical role, be qualified to at least diploma level in a mechanical, electronics, or electrical discipline, and have experience with prototype building and debug including hardware, electronics, optics, cameras, illumination.
