About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Site Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our site management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction process, ensuring that all works are completed to a high standard and in line with project specifications.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering and experience working on large-scale construction projects. You will be able to lead and motivate a team of engineers to ensure that productivity levels are high and that works are completed as per programme.

In addition to your technical expertise, you will also be required to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaison with sub-contractors and personnel on site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the construction process and ensure that all works are completed to a high standard
  • Lead and motivate a team of engineers to ensure productivity levels are high
  • Liaise with sub-contractors and personnel on site
  • Maintain accurate records and reports

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a senior role with a main contractor/developer in Ireland
  • Ability to use setting out instruments and being competent in all aspects of set out, survey & level, temporary works co-ordination
  • Thorough knowledge of computer and database applications such as Microsoft Office and Project/Power Point
