Supply Chain Planner Job

We are seeking a skilled Supply Chain Planner to fill this role in Sligo. This position involves managing our supply chain, ensuring timely production schedules and material availability.

  • Open and release Process orders as needed.
  • Determine the components required for Process Orders.
  • Generate Lot Assignment sheets for smooth operations.
  • Purchase requisitions must be generated in a timely manner, with materials released accordingly.
  • BOMs must be updated regularly to meet customer requirements accurately and on time.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, including quantities and due dates.
  • Prepare documentation for disposal of obsolete or rejected materials.
  • Monitor inventories of Bulk suppliers and finished products closely.
  • Plan for contingencies in case of technical or supply issues.
  • Ensure Production Schedules are executed efficiently by ensuring Process Orders are available and material is accessible.
  • Generate and Maintain Master Production Schedules.
  • Update ERP data regularly.
  • Avoid hazards during work activities and identify areas for improvement.
  • Adhere to environmental procedures strictly.
  • Approve Change requests for the Planning group.
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects.

Requirements:

  • Holding a qualification in Purchasing/Production Planning or relevant APICS certifications.
  • At least two years' experience in production planning in a manufacturing company.
  • High expertise in solving scheduling, logistics, expediting and purchasing problems efficiently.
