About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join FLI Precast Solutions as a Maintenance Fabricator and be part of our busy Facilities and Maintenance team.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing process and utility systems, including completing welding and steel fabrication work, repairing and maintaining equipment and plant, and providing mechanical maintenance support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the smooth operation of our manufacturing process and utility systems
  • Complete welding and steel fabrication work
  • Repair and maintain equipment and plant
  • Provide mechanical maintenance support to the manufacturing process and utility systems
  • Carry out preventive and predictive maintenance routines
  • Plan and participate in project work and planned shutdowns
  • Support the production team in achieving targets

Requirements:

  • Trade qualification in welding and steel fabrication
  • Minimum of three years' experience in a similar role
  • Ability to MIG and ARC weld essential
  • Steel fabrication knowledge and ability
  • Knowledge of and ability to perform iron works
  • Ability to operate a range of tools and machinery
  • Ability to read detailed drawings
  • Able to work on own initiative
  • Keen attention to detail and quality driven
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and spoken
  • Team player
