We are seeking a dedicated Renewable Energy Project Coordinator to oversee a major Solar PV construction project in Kilkenny, Ireland.
This role is crucial in ensuring the successful delivery of a high-profile renewable energy initiative, contributing significantly to sustainable development and enhancing our professional portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management: Oversee and manage all on-site activities, ensuring the project is executed according to plan, schedule, resource allocation, and task delegation.
Coordination: Ensure the project remains on schedule, meeting all critical deadlines and milestones.
Budget Monitoring: Monitor project expenditures to stay within budget, making cost-effective decisions without compromising quality.
Team Leadership: Lead a team of professionals, including subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring effective collaboration and productivity.
Training and Development: Provide guidance and training to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
Conflict Resolution: Address any conflicts or issues that arise, maintaining a harmonious and efficient working environment.
Health & Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to health and safety regulations, ensuring all site activities comply with legal and company standards.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks and implement measures to mitigate them, promoting a safe working environment for all personnel.
Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and regular communication with all project stakeholders, including clients, engineers, and senior management.
Reporting: Provide detailed progress reports and updates, ensuring stakeholders are informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle.
Problem-Solving: Address any issues or concerns raised by stakeholders promptly and effectively.
Quality Control: Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work meets specified quality standards and contractual requirements.
Documentation: Maintain comprehensive records of all inspections, audits, and quality checks, ensuring transparency and accountability.
Continuous Improvement: Implement and promote best practices, striving for excellence in every aspect of the project.
Qualifications and Experience:
Proven Experience: At least 5 years of experience as a Site Manager, specifically within the Solar PV construction sector.
Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Solar PV construction processes, technologies, and best practices.
Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a diverse team, driving performance and achieving project goals.
Health & Safety Knowledge: Strong understanding of health and safety regulations, with a proven track record of maintaining safe work environments.
Excellent Communication: Superior communication and interpersonal skills, capable of liaising effectively with all levels of stakeholders.
Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, with a proactive and strategic approach to overcoming challenges.
