Accountant Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accountant to join our team in Cork, Ireland. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality accounting services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and professional standards.
  • Provide audit and assurance services to clients, including statutory audit reports.
  • Manage client relationships and oversee compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial reporting, tax advisory, and corporate planning.
  • Participate in continuing professional development (CPD) activities to stay current with industry developments.

Requirements:

  • Full membership of Chartered Accountants or ACCA, with Irish audit qualification if statute audit work is offered.
  • Holds a Practising Certificate to operate in public practice.
  • Minimum two years of approved post-membership experience in public practice under supervision.
  • For audit provision: at least three years of audit training, including a minimum of 44 weeks in statutory audit, logged through recognized systems.

  • Compliant with current Public Practice Regulations, including firm registration, monitoring, and ethical obligations.
