Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Radiographer to join our dynamic team in Galway. As a Senior Radiographer, you will be responsible for performing radiographic and imaging examinations, maintaining high standards of radiography, and participating in on-call services as needed.


Key Responsibilities

  • Performing radiographic and imaging examinations with precision and accuracy
  • Maintaining consistently high standards of radiography through quality assurance procedures and continuous professional development
  • Participating in on-call services to ensure seamless operations
  • Adhering to radiation protection principles and guidelines
  • Conducting routine equipment inspections and reporting any defects or issues promptly
  • Providing training and support to junior staff members
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest techniques and developments in radiography and imaging through active participation in in-service training and continuing professional development
  • Supporting research projects and contributing to the advancement of medical knowledge


Requirements

  • Diploma from the College of Radiographers (Diagnostic) or equivalent qualification
  • Registration with CORU
  • Minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience in diverse examinations
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Continuous professional development and commitment to staying current with industry advancements
  • Flexibility and willingness to take on additional duties as required
