BER Assessor Role

We are seeking a skilled BER Assessor to conduct thorough assessments of residential and commercial properties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform Building Energy Rating (BER) assessments in accordance with SEAI standards and building regulations.
  • Conduct on-site surveys to collect data and analyse construction details, insulation, heating, ventilation, and renewable systems.
  • Use approved software tools to calculate energy performance and provide accurate BER certificates and advisory reports.
  • Recommend cost-effective measures to improve energy efficiency and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Maintain detailed records and prepare reports for quality audits, and liaise with contractors, architects, engineers, and homeowners as necessary.
Requirements:
  • SEAI-registered BER Assessor accreditation (domestic/non-domestic).
  • Relevant qualification in engineering, architecture, surveying, or construction.
  • Strong knowledge of building construction and energy systems.
  • Proficient in IT and BER software tools.
  • Full clean driving licence.
