Job Description

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our board of directors as a Volunteer Board Member with Funding Expertise. This role is ideal for an individual who possesses expertise in funding and wants to contribute their skills to a dynamic organization.

The selected candidate will provide strategic direction, oversight, and governance to the executive team, ensuring the organization fulfils its vision and mission in a sustainable and impactful way.

About the RoleResponsibilities:
  • Provide Strategic Leadership: Offer guidance and oversight to the executive team to ensure the organization achieves its goals and objectives.
  • Uphold Governance Practices: Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, monitoring risk and implementing policies and procedures as needed.
  • Review and Approve Plans: Oversee the development and implementation of strategic and annual operational plans, ensuring alignment with the organization's vision.
  • Monitor Financial Performance: Review financial reports, approve budgets, and make key financial decisions to ensure the organization's financial stability.
  • Support Executive Team: Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to the executive team to enhance their performance and overall organizational effectiveness.
