
Clinical Lead in Paediatric Haematology

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for an experienced nurse to develop their skills and expertise in paediatric haematology.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver effective treatment plans.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, and management of patients with malignant haematological disorders
- Developing and implementing individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and experiences
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- A broad base of clinical experience relevant to paediatric haematology, with a minimum of 3 years post-registration experience in an acute paediatric haematology oncology setting
- Eligibility to undertake a Master's degree in nursing or a related field, with a focus on advanced practice
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing demands
