Job Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and physically able Apple Fruit Harvester to join our team on a piece rate basis. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in harvesting apples using manual picking baskets, which can become heavy as they fill with fruit.

  • Picking apples is the primary responsibility of this role. We expect the successful candidate to be able to pick apples efficiently and effectively while maintaining good working relationships with colleagues.
  • Fruit bins must be filled to 330 kgs and fallen fruit gathered into separate bins. We need someone who can work independently with minimal supervision.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A strong track record of physical labor or farmwork would be an advantage. However, we also welcome candidates with transferable skills from other industries.
  • The successful candidate will be expected to work outdoors for long periods, often in challenging weather conditions.

This role offers competitive pay that meets or exceeds national minimum wage guidelines. All applicants should be aware that this position operates on a piece rate system.
