Financial Services QA Specialist

Our organization is actively seeking a skilled Test Analyst to join our QA Test Team. The candidate must have proven recent experience working in the Financial Services industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop test plans based on functional requirements.
  • Design comprehensive test cases for System, UAT, Regression and Service Oriented testing (both automated and manual).
  • Document and analyze test results.
  • Execute and record test case results.
  • Track progress and report to Team Lead with regular updates.
  • Raise and track defects, highlighting potential risks.
  • Ensure quality standards are maintained at all times.
  • Develop process improvement initiatives.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of QA and software testing experience.
  • Experience in testing within the Financial Services industry.
  • Desirable: Experience of Service Oriented Testing and interrogating SQL server databases.
  • Essential: Ability to develop SQL queries and experience with bug and issue management tools including JIRA.
  • Desirable: Experience with test case management tools including Test Rail.
