Catering Assistant

This is a fantastic opportunity to work as a Catering Assistant in a modern campus setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the preparation and serving of meals and beverages to customers.
  • Ensure that the kitchen, service, and seating areas are clean and tidy.
  • Follow health and safety regulations.
Duties:
  • Assist with basic food hygiene preparation tasks, including snacks and sandwiches.
  • Store and distribute kitchen supplies.
  • Prepare counter area and assist with counter services.
  • Make and serve beverages as required.
  • Operate the cash register.
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene in assigned areas.
  • Deliver exceptional service to trainees, staff, and visitors.
  • Collect dishes and wash up.
  • Clean the kitchen, including appliances, equipment, and surfaces.
  • Set up dining and buffet areas as per the catering manager's instructions.
  • Implement Safety, Health, and Welfare policies.
Essential Requirements:
  • A sound understanding of Hygiene and Food Health and Safety Regulations.
  • A general understanding of HACCP standards.
  • Customer service experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • The ability to work effectively within a team and on own initiative.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
