
Care Pathway Coordinator for Children's Health

As a Clinical Nurse Manager 2, you will play a vital role in leading and coordinating access to care for children with neurological conditions.
This includes assigning patients to the most clinically appropriate care pathway.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide timely access to neurology care, avoiding unnecessary procedures and contributing to efficient resource use.
- Work as a key member of the neurology team, supporting colleagues and referring clinicians.
- Determine caseloads in consultation with Neurologists and ADON.
- Clinically suitable patients are removed from neurology waiting lists.
- Patients are directed to alternative care pathways.
- Children are more suitably prioritized, improving access to care.
- You must be registered on the Children's Division and/or General Division of the Register of Nurses & Midwives.
- At least 5 years post-registration experience, including 2 years in an acute paediatric hospital setting is required.
- A Higher Diploma (Level 8) or Master's degree with specialist modules is necessary.
- Proven clinical, managerial, and administrative capacity is essential.
- Continuing professional development at the appropriate level is required.
