Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Product Technologist to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role would suit a qualified professional looking for a challenging opportunity.

The successful candidate will support the development of high-quality products, ensuring they meet our quality standards and exceed customer expectations. They will work closely with product operations teams, suppliers, and stakeholders to establish best practices and maintain compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Support the delivery of quality products that are safe, legal, and fit for purpose.
  2. Demonstrate technical knowledge to ensure products meet customer requirements.
  3. Build capability to assess commercial quality and testing requirements.
  4. Investigate quality issues and communicate them to relevant stakeholders.
  5. Work with the Compliance team to ensure Quality Standards align with industry norms.
  6. Demonstrate understanding of legal and retail requirements for product labeling.
  7. Assist in identifying potential quality issues and manage reporting of testing submissions.
  8. Evaluate risk and make recommendations on quality priorities.
  9. Monitor returns reports to identify high-returning styles/products and develop CAPs to improve future deliveries.

Requirements:

Candidates must have previous experience working in Footwear and Accessories, with a sound understanding of Footwear construction and manufacturing techniques.
