Leading Neurologist Role

The appointment to the South / South West Hospitals Group is a permanent position. It is a 37 hours per week role, part of a HSE Public Only Consultants Contract 2023.
This new post is additional to the existing appointed consultant in the South/South West Hospital group and may be subject to restructuring in the future to facilitate the reorganisation of acute services.
We are seeking an experienced Consultant Neurologist to join our team and contribute to delivering high-quality patient care and service improvements.
Suitable candidates will have excellent clinical and communication skills and experience working in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- To provide high-quality neurological care to patients in the hospital setting.
- To work collaboratively with other medical professionals to deliver effective patient care and service improvements.
- To maintain up-to-date knowledge and skills in neurology and adhere to professional standards.
Requirements:
- Membership of the relevant Royal College or equivalent qualification.
- Registration with the Medical Council of Ireland.
- Proven experience in a similar role.
