About the Job:

As a skilled Language Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing clients' needs and developing personalized therapy plans to enhance their communication skills and overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify language and communication requirements of clients.
  • Create and implement tailored therapy plans based on assessment findings.
  • Deliver engaging therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques to achieve therapeutic goals.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and families to provide holistic support.
  • Track and document client progress, adjusting therapies as necessary.
  • Provide education and resources to clients and their families on language development strategies.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in language therapy.

Requirements:

  • A recognized degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, or a related field is essential.
  • Experience as a Language Therapist, demonstrating a successful background in facilitating language development.
  • Fluency in English with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A strong understanding of language disorders and evidence-based therapy techniques.
  • The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Valid certifications and licenses applicable for language therapy in Ireland are required.
