Healthcare Support Specialist

We are seeking compassionate and reliable individuals to join our team as support specialists in a healthcare setting.
Key ResponsibilitiesYou will work as part of a dedicated multidisciplinary team supporting adults with intellectual disabilities and/or physical support needs across residential and community-based services. Your key responsibilities will include delivering personal care, emotional support, and practical assistance to individuals in line with their individualised care plans.
- Promote dignity, independence, and quality of life through respectful, person-centred support.
- Assist with daily living activities such as mobility, meals, personal hygiene, and household tasks.
- Support individuals in participating in community-based activities and social inclusion.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and families to ensure safe and consistent care.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A full QQI Level 5 qualification in Health Care, Applied Social Studies, Pre-Nursing, or Health Care Support.
- Minimum of one year experience in a similar role (disability, elderly, residential, or homecare).
- Excellent communication skills, empathy, and a genuine desire to support others.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and overnights on a rota basis.
- A full clean manual Irish driving licence.
