About the Role
  • This is a mid-senior level position responsible for reviewing and approving contract documents, providing support to the financial controller and directors, and preparing cost reports.
  • The successful candidate will have strong computer skills, excellent communication skills, and experience in managing multiple tasks and prioritising deadlines.
Main Responsibilities
  1. Review and approve contract documents, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements.
  2. Provide commercial and cost advice to the project team, including preparation of cost reports and management of subcontract and material procurement schedules.
  3. Administer subcontractor/supplier accounts, monitor and authorise payments, and agree final accounts.
  4. Maintain up-to-date records of cost to complete and cost reports for the project.
  5. Prepare, negotiate, and agree change events, extension of time claims, and final accounts.
  6. Manage cash flow and ensure compliance with the contract schedule.
  7. Develop and maintain relationships with clients to support activities and maintain positive relations on behalf of the company.
  8. Be proactive in commercial control, monitoring performance from start to finish.
Selection Criteria
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role required.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft and Google packages.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and spoken communication skills.
  • Ability to take a professional, organised approach to problem-solving and work as part of a team.
