Job Description
In this role, you will be responsible for product grading and assessment, quality checks, stock monitoring, record completion, and issue communication. You will work closely with the technical manager and dispatch team to ensure seamless production runs. Key responsibilities include:
  • Product grading/assessment
  • Quality Checks (weights, temperature, size, shape, metal detection, etc.)
  • Stock monitoring, rotation checks
  • Records completion at different process stages
  • Issue communication and action taken
  • Rejects communication and required action set up
  • Label check and verification
  • Working together with dispatch team
  • Setting up relevant equipment for production run
  • Monitoring production change overs
  • Daily good manufacturing practice (GMP) and hygiene inspections

Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you must have previous experience within Food/FMCG, a positive work ethic, and impeccable attention to detail. You must also have your own transport and be willing to travel to other sites as required. Additionally, you should be flexible, focused, disciplined, responsible, and hard working. It is essential to be able to communicate and write in English.

Benefits
This role offers a 40-hour workweek with a day shift schedule, starting at 8am. While the work schedule may rotate between Monday and Sunday, you can expect a consistent and predictable schedule. As a Quality Controller, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality standards are met, and your contributions will directly impact the success of our clients.
