Job Title: Advanced Practice Health Care Professional

The primary function of the Advanced Practice Provider is to work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals in the delivery of comprehensive patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments through history taking and physical examinations to determine health status and medical needs
  • Initiate screening and diagnostic procedures as necessary to inform treatment plans
  • Provide ongoing health maintenance services to promote wellness and prevent disease
  • Manage pregnancy, minor trauma, acute illnesses, and stable chronic conditions according to established protocols and standards of care
Required Qualifications:
  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and nurse practitioner program
  • Current state licensure as a licensed nurse practitioner (NP), DEA license, and registered nurse (RN) licensure or physician assistant (PA)
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS)-Healthcare Provider (HCP) certification required; advanced life support certification preferred
  • Eligibility for prescriptive authority in accordance with state regulations
