Job Title: Warehouse Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive warehouse professional to oversee the efficient day-to-day running of warehouse operations in Cork. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a small team, ensuring accurate and timely handling of stock and deliveries, while maintaining a clean, safe, and productive working environment.
Main Responsibilities:- Lead and motivate a warehouse team, fostering collaboration and high performance.
- Plan and organize daily workloads, deliveries, and team rotas to achieve maximum efficiency.
- Oversee goods-in and goods-out processes, including container unloading and stock management, to ensure seamless inventory control.
- Ensure accurate stock control, cycle counts, and annual stocktakes to maintain data integrity.
- Drive process improvements and support continuous efficiency initiatives to reduce costs and enhance productivity.
- Handle team issues fairly and professionally, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety standards and maintain a safe working environment for all staff members.
- Proven experience in warehouse or logistics management, preferably in a similar role.
- Strong leadership, planning, and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on building strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Experience with warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office, with a keen eye for detail and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of health & safety and compliance requirements, with a commitment to upholding these standards at all times.
- Forklift license is desirable but not essential for this role.
