Data Engineer

We are seeking a Cloud Data Solutions Engineer to support key data and analytics initiatives. This role will focus on building scalable, cloud-based data solutions and delivering meaningful insights across the business.
Job Description:
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled engineer to join our team and drive strategic data initiatives forward. As a Cloud Data Solutions Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust data pipelines using Databricks, Python, and PySpark.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop scalable data pipelines using Databricks, Python, and PySpark
- Work across cloud and on-premises environments, including Snowflake and object storage
- Integrate data from various sources, including APIs and flat files
- Improve and streamline existing SQL logic, views, and stored procedures
- Partner with business teams to build reports and dashboards using Power BI
- Support data quality, lineage, and governance using tools such as Atlan or Monte Carlo
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in data engineering within cloud-focused environments
- Strong skills in Python, PySpark, and SQL
- Hands-on experience with Databricks, Snowflake, and cloud platforms (AWS or Azure)
- Solid understanding of data modeling techniques
- Strong communication skills and experience working with business stakeholders
Nice to Have:
- Background in Scaled Agile (SAFe) methodologies
- Experience mentoring or guiding junior engineers
