Job Title: Strategic Financial Officer

About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Chief Financial Officer to play a key role in our company's profitable growth and expansion. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic guidance to the Senior Leadership Team and supporting business growth initiatives.

The CFO will lead the development and implementation of effective treasury and cash management strategies, improve productivity, maintain margin performance, drive profitability, and ensure the finance team operates at the highest professional standards.

Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Candidates should have a qualified accounting background with CFO or Finance Director level experience within a large, scaling multi-location complex business generating revenues c. €100m.
  • Industry experience within a multi-transactional, high-volume, low-margin environment such as Logistics, Sales & Distribution, Supply Chain is preferable.
  • Strategic Commercial Acumen: Experience in strategic planning and driving strategy implementation is essential.
  • Forecasting and Treasury management skills (FX, cash management, multi-currency) are required.
  • M&A and fundraising/financing experience beneficial.
  • Strong Influencing skills.
  • Systems Savvy.

Candidates should possess excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and make informed decisions. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are also essential.
