Construction Project Manager Role

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team in a key role that will be pivotal to the commercial success of multiple residential developments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and manage accurate cost estimates, budgets, and cash flow forecasts.
  • Conduct tender analysis and manage subcontractor procurement and negotiation.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular financial reports to senior management.
  • Ensure cost-control measures are implemented and adhered to throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Assess value variations, manage interim payments, and agree final accounts.
  • Liaise with site teams, architects, engineers, and external consultants to ensure commercial objectives are met.
  • Support the development of junior team members and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

What You Will Need

  • Proven experience in quantity surveying, with a strong track record in managing large-scale projects.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours.
  • Proficiency in relevant software packages, including MS Office and project management tools.
