Job Title: Compensation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to manage our payroll function, ensuring accurate and timely disbursement of employee salaries, benefits, and deductions.

Duties:
  • Oversee the processing of all payroll-related tasks, including salary, benefits, and deductions.
  • Maintain compliance with relevant laws and regulations, resolving any discrepancies and collaborating with other departments to streamline payroll processes.
  • Full responsibility for the Sage Micropay Payroll system, handling weekly and monthly employees.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to payroll-related queries from supervisors and employees.
  • Monitor and update the in-house time and attendance system directly linked to Sage Micropay Payroll.
  • Register new employees on the Time Management system and generate daily reports for the shop floor.
  • Process Company / Employee Payments / Expenses through online banking software.
  • Prepare monthly P30s and yearly P60s for the Accountant.
  • Generate letters for PPS numbers, bank applications, and other ad hoc requests.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1 year's experience in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience in high-volume payroll processing in a production setting.
  • Expertise in administering a high-volume weekly payroll.
