Job Title: Senior Speech and Language Therapist

We are seeking a highly motivated senior speech and language therapist to join our interdisciplinary team in providing services to children and families within the region.

The post holder will be responsible for the provision of a speech and language therapy service, including assessment, diagnostics, intervention, clinical supervision, and ongoing service delivery to children with a range of disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality speech and language therapy services to children aged 0-18 years with physical, sensory, learning disabilities, developmental delay, and autism.
  • Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for children with communication disorders.
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff members to ensure they meet professional standards.
  • Conduct assessments of need and provide recommendations for service development.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
  • Registration as a speech and language therapist with CORU (Speech and Language Therapists Registration Board).
  • 3 years full-time or aggregate 3 years full-time post-qualification clinical experience.
  • High standard of suitability and professional ability for the proper discharge of duties.
  • Annual registration on the Speech and Language Therapists Register maintained by CORU.
