Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Physical Design Leader with expertise in Microprocessor Design and Design Techniques. This senior role will require you to lead the physical design team to create new designs for next-generation computing experiences.

You will be responsible for:

  • Primary technical contact for your focus area
  • Working closely with peers in technology and design reviews
  • Representing the CPU Cores to executive management from a technical perspective

You will have the opportunity to:

  • Lead teams of senior engineers
  • Mentor and guide colleagues to elevate their knowledge and skills

About the Role

This is a challenging role that requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and communication skills. You will need to be able to balance business needs with Power, Performance, and Area requirements.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience leading technical teams
  • Expertise in high-speed microprocessor designs
  • Able to create new design ideas and flows
  • Knowledge of current sub-micro technologies
  • Solid understanding of Physical Design tools and flows or custom circuit design
