Carpentry Role

We are looking for an experienced Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials.

Main Duties:

  1. Interpreting blueprints, drawings, and sketches to comprehend project specifications.
  2. Taking precise measurements and calculating material quantities.
  3. Machining and smoothing wood and other materials according to specifications.
  4. Fabricating window frames, doors, staircases, and framing buildings using raw materials or pre-fabricated components.
  5. Installing flooring, roofing, or drywall, ensuring a level and compatible fit.
  6. Assembling furniture, cabinets, shelves, and other items and installing them where required.
  7. Inspecting sites and performing repairs or maintenance as necessary.
  8. Setting up and dismantling scaffolding and other construction equipment.
  9. Ensuring adherence to local building and safety regulations.

Required Skills:

  1. Proven experience as a Carpenter.
  2. Practical experience working with carpentry materials.
  3. Comprehensive knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction.
  4. Proficiency in operating electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (e.g., power saws, hammers, rulers).
  5. Ability to read technical documentation and drawings.
  6. Commitment to following safety guidelines at all times.
