Night Duty Manager Job Description

As a Night Duty Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all hotel operations during the night shift. This includes acting as the senior manager on duty, supervising front desk and night audit operations, and ensuring accuracy in financial reporting and guest records.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all hotel operations during the night shift.
  • Supervise and support front desk and night audit operations.
  • Manage guest arrivals, departures, late check-ins, and special requests with professionalism and warmth.
  • Conduct regular property walks to ensure security, safety, and cleanliness standards are maintained.
  • Handle and resolve guest complaints or incidents promptly.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and F&B teams to address overnight operational needs.
  • Complete and verify night audit reports.
  • Monitor staff performance and provide guidance.

Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a Night Manager or Night Supervisor in a hotel environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of property management systems.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and make confident decisions.
  • Flexible approach to working hours.
  • Strong organisational skills and accuracy in reporting.
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional guest service.
