We are currently seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Chartwells Independent. This is a full-time position contracted to 37.5 hours per week.

As a key member of our cleaning and facilities teams, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and safety of our clients and customers by maintaining clean and hygienic environments.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Dusting, sweeping, polishing, mopping, and vacuuming designated areas to a high standard
  • Ensuring surface areas, floors, windows, and other touchpoints are sanitized regularly
  • Performing additional cleaning duties as required, such as quickly and efficiently mopping up spillages
  • Emptying and disposing of bin waste
  • Monitoring and re-stocking cleaning supplies

To succeed in this role, you will need excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a passion for working in a hands-on environment. Experience in a similar cleaning role is desirable but not essential. A flexible approach to working is also highly valued.
