Job Title: Senior Technical Specialist

A dynamic and experienced technical specialist is required to lead technical consultancy across various construction and engineering projects. The role involves engagement with stakeholders, including end-users, consulting engineers, architects, and contractors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert technical guidance on product specifications through stakeholder consultations.
  • Conduct site inspections and attend technical meetings to ensure proper implementation of specifications.
  • Perform complex structural calculations and analysis, including wind load assessments.
  • Develop detailed technical drawings and specifications using industry-standard CAD software.
  • Support business development initiatives through technical presentations and client meetings in Ireland.
  • Conduct testing duties as required.
  • Additional technical responsibilities will be assigned by the Technical Director.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Master's or Ph.D. in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution.
  • Full clean driving license.

Technical Competences:

  • Expertise in complex structural calculations and wind load analysis.
  • Proven experience in specification and application in construction projects.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Irish building regulations and European technical standards.
  • Proficiency with engineering software, including CAD and structural analysis tools.
  • Knowledge of testing methodologies and quality assurance processes.
  • Understanding of in-situ testing procedures (training provided).
