About the Role

This challenging opportunity is seeking an experienced Healthcare Assistant to join our healthcare division in Belmullet, Mayo. You will be responsible for providing personalized care and support to patients, working closely with our experienced nursing staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide supportive care and promote independence and dignity among patients
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding, ensuring patient comfort and well-being
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any concerns to nursing staff
  • Participate in activities designed to promote physical and emotional well-being of patients
Requirements
  • 150 hours experience as a Healthcare Assistant
  • FETAC/QQI Level 5 in healthcare support or equivalent
  • Full vaccination record (HEP B, Varicella, MMR, BCG)
  • CPR & People Moving & Handling certification
