Role Overview
The Day Activities Facilitator will work intensively with individuals to discover what constitutes a good life for them and establish the necessary supports to achieve their goals. This requires collaboration with the individual's family and other important people in their life.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement personalized plans for individuals with intellectual disabilities
- Collaborate with families and support networks to ensure effective communication and coordination
- Provide flexible support services based on individual needs and preferences
- Work closely with colleagues to share knowledge and best practices
Requirements:
- Positive attitude towards working with people with intellectual disabilities
- Commitment to ensuring individuals lead fulfilling and enjoyable lives
- Ability to work in partnership with families and support networks
- Flexibility to adapt to changing individual needs and circumstances
