Job Overview

This role is a crucial part of the healthcare team, responsible for providing direct care to patients and assisting with unit coordination. The successful candidate will perform basic nursing procedures related to patient care and comfort, with a focus on delivering exceptional patient outcomes.


The ideal candidate will have experience in an acute or long-term care facility, with proficiency in IV insertion, phlebotomy, and straight catheterization. A strong understanding of medical asepsis, patient dignity, and privacy is essential.


In this role, you will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, assisting with patient care and activities such as vital sign collection, specimen collection, and documentation. You will also be responsible for coordinating activities on the inpatient unit, including patient admissions, discharges, and transfers.


To succeed in this role, you must possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to document patient care accurately. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with CPR certification and Act 34, 33, and 73 clearance certificates.
