Senior Mechanical Design Engineer Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our Dublin office. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from commercial to sports and museums & conservation projects.

The successful candidate will have experience in mechanical engineering, particularly in design and development of systems and components, conducting engineering calculations and analysis, preparing technical reports, collaborating with the engineering team to solve complex problems, participating in project meetings and providing input on engineering solutions, adhering to industry regulations and safety standards, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and innovation projects.

  • Design and develop mechanical systems and components
  • Conduct engineering calculations and analysis
  • Prepare technical reports and documentation
  • Collaborate with the engineering team

Responsibilities include working independently and as part of a team, effectively communicating ideas, managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and contributing to innovation projects.

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, possess strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and practices, be proficient in CAD software and other engineering tools, demonstrate excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, effective communication and teamwork abilities, ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
