Materials Planner Role

The Materials Planner will be responsible for managing the procurement and inventory of materials to meet production schedules without delays or excess inventory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage raw material inventory levels, ensuring timely delivery and minimizing stockouts.
  • Place purchase orders with suppliers, taking into account lead times and batch size requirements.
  • Maintain accurate system updates and communicate changes to delivery dates with suppliers.
  • Ensure POs are received accurately and on time to support smooth material flow and system integrity.
  • Match invoices promptly to avoid supply disruptions.
  • Coordinate and address raw material quality issues, escalating risks or opportunities to the planning leadership team.
  • Manage the introduction of new or changed materials for product launches and packaging refreshes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, or related field.
  • +5 years' experience in materials planning or an equivalent role.

Proficiency in ERP systems and practical knowledge of MRP processes and master data maintenance.
