Job Title: Workplace Safety Professional

Location: Dublin

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Workplace Safety Professional to join our organisation. As a key member, you will be responsible for coordinating health and safety activities across the company and developing policies to mitigate potential risks.

The successful candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in a similar role within the water construction sector, with expertise in deep excavation projects. You will be responsible for:

  • Delivering workplace safety contracts and policies
  • Ensuring regular inspections of projects are undertaken and reporting any action points
  • Organising daily workload and routes to ensure all projects are visited within a set time period
  • Completing inspection reports to a high standard
  • Uploading and sending inspection reports to relevant stakeholders
  • Working alongside Contracts Managers and Project Managers
  • Recommending prioritised actions for safety improvements
  • Facilitating continuous improvement in site operations as required

To be considered for this role, you will require:

  • A health and safety background within the utilities sector
  • 1-3+ years' experience in a similar role
  • Experience in deep excavations
  • NEBOSH certification
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to build rapport quickly and easily with diverse stakeholders
  • Excellent numeracy and literacy skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Confident use of Microsoft Office
  • Full Driving License
