Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Medical Scientist Quality and I.T Coordinator to oversee quality assurance initiatives and maintain I.T systems within our laboratory.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and improving laboratory processes through effective quality management and technological support.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee quality assurance initiatives and maintain I.T systems within the laboratory.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and improve laboratory processes.
- Provide technical support for I.T systems and quality management.
- Maintain accurate records of quality assurance activities and laboratory processes.
Requirements
CORU registration is essential, as well as 3 years or more clinical post-qualification experience as a Medical Scientist in a multidisciplinary or blood sciences laboratory.
Proficient I.T skills relevant to laboratory operations, data management, and automation are also required.
A minimum of 2 years' experience of operational involvement with a quality management system including document control is necessary.
In-depth knowledge of laboratory accreditation standards and quality assurance practices is also required.
A postgraduate degree in IT or scientific disciplines would be desirable but not essential.
