Job Title: Manufacturing Process Specialist

About the Role

Our company is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Process Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our manufacturing operations, you will play a vital role in maintaining and improving existing production processes.

This position focuses on sustaining high-quality standards by troubleshooting issues, implementing process improvements, and supporting ongoing production activities while adhering to regulatory and quality requirements.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing technical support to resolve production challenges and minimize downtime
  • Analyzing root causes of production issues and implementing corrective actions to address defects or inefficiencies
  • Identifying and implementing opportunities to improve yields, reduce waste, and enhance overall production efficiency
  • Utilizing Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other methodologies to drive process enhancements
  • Leading or supporting engineering changes (ECOs) to existing products, processes, or equipment
  • Validating and documenting changes to ensure they meet quality, compliance, and operational requirements
  • Maintaining accurate process documentation, including SOPs, work instructions, validation protocols, and technical reports
  • Tracking and reporting key performance metrics, such as yields, downtime, and defect rates
Qualifications & Requirements

Applicants should possess:

  • Engineering level 8 degree or equivalent qualification
  • Preferably a minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple ongoing projects
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams
  • Catheter assembly experience including braided/coiled shaft assembly and reflow, tip bonding and handle assembly is an advantage
