State Street International is seeking an experienced Java Application Specialist to join our Agile development team. As a specialist, you'll play a key role in designing, developing, and deploying high-quality software applications that meet the evolving needs of our clients.

With a strong background in Java development and Agile methodologies, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement solutions that meet our high standards for quality and reliability. Your expertise in core Java packages, Lambda expressions, and Stream API will enable you to write clean, maintainable code that meets our requirements.

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to sprint planning, participate in code reviews, and troubleshoot technical issues. You'll also be responsible for developing and maintaining Java applications according to specifications, collaborating with Tech Leads and Business Analysts to implement solutions, and participating in knowledge sharing within the team.

To succeed in this position, you'll need a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, as well as 5-7 years of hands-on experience in Java development with Java 17 and above. Strong knowledge of object-oriented development paradigms and design patterns is also essential, along with experience working in Agile development environments and proficiency with relational databases (Oracle DB or SQL Server).
