Job Opportunity:

The Health and Wellbeing Vaccination Programme is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Nursing to lead the Mid West Region.

This full-time role will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the vaccination programme, ensuring its successful delivery within the region. The Director of Nursing will also be responsible for line management, policy development, and clinical governance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the implementation of the vaccination programme in the Mid West Region, covering Co Clare, Limerick, and North Tipperary.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of the current workstreams and vaccination programmes.
  • Oversee the running of the vaccination programme, ensuring its smooth operation.
  • Deliver vaccinations and manage vaccine distribution.
  • Develop and implement policies and guidelines related to vaccination programme management.

Requirements:

  • Experience in delivering vaccinations and managing vaccine distribution.
  • Knowledge of vaccination programme management and clinical governance.
  • Line management experience.
  • Ability to drive and travel within the region.
