About the Accounting Clerk Position

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Clerk to join our dynamic team at Kerry Dairy Ireland. As a key member of our Agribusiness Finance team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes.

Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing day-to-day administrative tasks with precision and attention to detail.
  • Processing cash book transactions and performing bank reconciliations with accuracy.
  • Providing exceptional support to the accounts payable department.
  • Efficiently processing invoices and credit notes.
  • Reconciling vendor accounts with ease.
  • Responding to vendor queries and requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Processing vendor payments with diligence.
  • Collaborating with other finance personnel to meet tight deadlines when required.

What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in an office setting, preferably in an accounts administration role.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • A strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
  • An analytical mind, with the ability to own and solve problems efficiently.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in the use of MS Office tools and the ability to operate general office equipment.
  • The confidence and trust of others through honesty, integrity, and authenticity.
  • The ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • SAP experience is desirable but not essential.
